Derrill's Race is held on the beautiful Manhan Rail Trail in the heart of Easthampton, Massachusetts. The 4.2 mile paved (off-road) trail was completed in 2003 after 10 long years of work and planning. Derrill's Race was the FIRST event ever held on the trail on May 1, 2004.

• A First Aid Station is located at the Safety Complex and will be marked clearly.

• A mobile First Aid unit will patrol the route.

• Water stations are available along the route.

• A Race Volunteer is always nearby ready to assist and is easily identified by their Yellow T-shirt.

• Rest rooms are located in the Safety Complex (pre-race) and also at Wellness Within (race-end). Porta-Pottys are also available.

• No dogs, skateboard, bicycles or motorized vehicles are allowe on the course for the safety of our participants.

• Strollers (single or double) ARE allowed. due to the narrowness of the trail, we ask that you remain single file.

• All runners and walkers should stay on the trail, keeping to the right side. Remain alert and watch for runners coming in the opposite direction.

• Park in designated areas only and watch for pedestrian traffic

• Please be courteous to each other and enjoy the day.

As the results are posted, the presentation of awards will begin. There are prizes, trophies and awards given to the winners of each race category. Several gift certificates are also awarded.
